I enjoyed the candid conversation :)

Oh man. I do that exact thing where the heel of my palm stays put and the wrist rotates down during fast low to high runs. It's a VERY tough habit to break. I didn't even realize I was doing it till I started working 5 and 6 string sweeping exercises and was like...hmmm...something isn't right here. Also...LOVE the unedited fireside chat format of sketches (or whatever it ends up being called).

Derek Cross

I love this sketches idea. I'll also want a bloopers video. I know you got em!

Jon Blackburn

This is good. The Uncle Ben persona is immensely entertaining but the authenticity here is cool. One observation: The dog interaction makes it even more better. NEVER apologize for the dogs. In fact, some canine screen time would make it even more better still.

Doug

Dig the format! I’m speaking for myself but I’m pretty sure us Patron’s connect with your style of demonstration that’s why we’re here. I don’t actually know what specific topic I’d want to see but… You being yourself and showing things that you’re personally working on or have struggled with be great.

T Kelly

I love this new format - you and a guitar, unedited. And this, for example, is a real issue, so it's good to see you cover this. I actually have the opposite problem - with my limited practice time, I spend my time practicing for speed on the high strings, but my picking on the low 3 is crap, so this made me more conscious of this and I've been practicing now to balance that out.

This is so lovely and conversational! I've only been dipping my toes in lead playing for the last couple of months and think this will help a lot! Can't wait to try slomowing that lawn

Steve Napier

This also helps not hitting the volume knob and turning yourself down lol

Lonny Proctor

Thank you thank you thank you Ben! I've struggled with this for years dude.

Great Format. High Strings Drifter! Spaghetti Western pun title. This should help me with trying to clean up my playing. Sounds like what I'm doing and I know I struggle with anchor points. I need to find your other videos on muting etc. Thanks Ben.

Steven Cork

I have the same problem. I don’t feel as comfortable on the low 2 stings as. Do on the other 4. Thoughts BE?
