How to play Steely Dan Peg guitar chords Weekend Wankshop 160

Instagram: BenEllerGuitars Facebook: www.facebook.com/unclebeneller lessons? [email protected] Hey kids! On Weekend Wankshop 160, Uncle Ben Eller here is gonna give you a lesson on how to play one of my favorite songs, Peg by Steely Dan! Don Fagen and Walter Becker are just the best. The chords in this song are so beautiful and fun to play. This is a great tune to work on your fingerstyle chord playing, too. THere's lots of big jazzy M7 and m7 chords in here, and even some 11's and stuff. A lot of those bigger chords get simplified or abbreviated for us guitarists since we just can't build the entire 6-7 note chords sometimes! I'll be showing you how to play the intro, the verse, the chorus, and the turnaround/bridge, so you should have everything you need to play this awesome tune. Toss it into your cover band's set and impress dads everywhere! Maybe if you guys want we will cover the solo on a later lesson. Suhr Alt T Kemper Profiler Amazon Flannel Nothing but net

My stepmom is disappointed that you’re not wearing shorts again. Excellent lesson uncle Ben! 👍

Thank you uncle Ben, I have been meaning to look at this but I am far too lazy. You make me get my finger out!!!

Ben this lesson is supreme A great tune made easy

Another great lesson, I do like a bit of Steely Dan and you break each part down and make it look simple.

Great. Thank You.

Uncle B. Thank You so much for your time and sacrificing your fangers on the lead. I only thought I was a Steely Dan fan back in June '77 when my girlfriend introduced me to the Aja (via cassette tape) on our drive home from college. HOLY Sh**t my life was changed by freaky extended chords (I wasn't savvy to music theory then) and Michael McDonald harmonies.... And I thought Pretzel Logic couldn't be topped !!! LOLOL... (Per Jethro Tull...) I'm not too old to Rock n Roll nor too young to die damnit - my frilly sleeves are rolled up and my Kung Fu fingers are ready for this one !!! Peace in Crossville Uncle B. !!!!
