I guess my first question is... why aren't you using your pinky?

David Montgomery

Uncle Ben what kinda ofc pick are you using in this video? Ive kinda gotten myself in a "Pick Crisis" lol For years i used the John Petrucci Jazz III's {the black ones} and then i swapped to the Dunlop XL jazz III's. After a few years i sapped those for the Dunlop Flows with the grip. Now i cant stand any of them. Ive tried to go back the ogs but i just cant get comfortable with either one of them!!! HELP!!! Killer video btw !!

Burnie Pope

I'm subscribed but don't know how to send a message/request...its not related to this video, im 55, George lynch was my guitar idol in the 80s, yet I play nothing like him except for artificial harmonics. Lol..bro could you cover the solo to lynch mob dream of till tomorrow comes? That is one killer freakin solo overlooked...thanks...Burnie

Andreas_m2s

Amazing lesson. It helped a lot for the bark at the moon solo. Thanks once again Uncle Ben. P.s. An idea for future videos. Metal riffing techniques and tips. Right and left hand mechanics for fast gallops or donwstrokes with string changes and string skipping, muting and many more. Drop the knowledge. \m/

Patrick Englund

That launching technique totally flipped a switch in my head, thanks!

David Andrews

Thanks Uncle Ben Dimeola !!!! :-). More cud to chew this week during practice..... Oh yea... and per your past lessons, DON'T FORGET Thy Repertoire (a dad gum song...) Rock On.....

Benjamin

Uncle Ben, this exercise has really unlocked something for me in my accuracy! I’ve been doing it every day since you posted it and have for it up to 220 BPM. Thank you!!

Louis Harang

This is so simple yet so effective, clearly unlocked something for me ! Thanks Unc

Gabriel Behrens

This is great. Can you do the solo from Judas Priest Reckless and break it down, please

Matej Trcka

What a great lesson! I love the riffs from intro and in the background, are you planning to share something of it with us? Cheers!
