Justin Taylor

I use the Cliffs of dover intro to practice string skipping, I will be adding this to the practice routine, ty 🤙🎸

Super helpful as usual. I’d love to see more pick slanting exercises like this one.

Uncle B. This is the best (well explained) exercise since the "This Thing Sucks" (Robert Frip-esque) multi string beast exercise lesson from several years back that put me into both psycho & physical therapies. LOLOL.... The printed TAB from that past exercise lesson did not carry a Wankshop numeration and just "This Thing Sucks"... Especially since full tempo was quarter note = 190!!! What da Fripp Man !!! I'm going to attempt to apply today's WW 392 strategy to This Thing Sucks. Long Live The Punisher !!!! And I second Mr. Taylor's shout out (below comments) to Cliffs of Dover as well.... Thanks Ben.....

Hi, Mr. Dr. Step Dad -- do you have a video (or could you make one) that shows how to leverage the additional resources (guitar pro tab etc) to optimize our learning or practicing? How can we best use guitar pro (or whatever) to accelerate our progress? Thank you and I'm sorry for leaving the empty milk jug in the fridge.

Hi Uncle Ben. This is so great. I didn't have such an issue with the string skipping but the independence between 3rd/ring finger and 4th/pinky was more of an issue. In 2 days (about 20 mins on this per day) I've started seeing way more improvement. Absolutely amazing practice study for picking, string skipping and finger independence.

Nice, an exercise more frustrating than the spider walk. The Broccoli of technique practice, it sucks, but it's good for you so just do it, and by sucks i mean super beneficial. Gonna turn up the volume and let the neighbours suffer. hah!

That Suhr is hella cool. Did you order it custom or might one find another one in the wild?

Thanks U.B. Great workout! I'm hoping this will help me get the underlying guitar part in "Birds Of Fire" up to speed eventually
