Sex tuplets should always be legato.

Good one!!! I’m currently working on Chris Brooks’ Viking Shred Guitar Suite and this fits perfectly into my practice. I’m using it to work on legato too during the sextuplets. I’ve also noticed with this one, as I play faster bpms, my picking when descending is much better than my ascending picking.

Perfect workout for what I need right now, thanks very much.

I've been focused on learning the fretboard. I, like many of us, did know the 2 bottom strings well, which is a start. And, as you've pointed out, the top string is the same as the bottom. One way I've tried to increase my knowledge is to remind myself that the 3rd and 4th strings are the same as the 5th and 6th, but just 2 frets higher. I haven't learned the board yet, but it seems helpful. Wondering if you agree with this idea? Thanks Ben!

I really appreciate you including the "what makes this such a good workout" section! The movement, the note locations, and the other possibilities. This was awesome! Way more than a re-hab. Thanks Uncle Ben!

Over a bunch of years of just learning dive bar R&R songs for my cover band I drifted into undisciplined economy picking - now that I am getting a better handle on intentional alternate picking I am starting t wonder when to intelligently blend in economy picking when it makes sense - without knowing when that would be. No worries though - I have plenty to work on while waiting for clarity on that from the universe. Thanks Ben for all you do!

I am about 3 months into learning guitar and I struggle with anything faster than "Step dad" speed. I am using a 1.0 mm pick. Is there a particular exercise recommended for someone in my situation? Thanks for all the great exercises!
