Dorley! Probably two chapters in a row, same as I did for When You Fell from Heaven last month. I’m deep into chapter forty-four now, and I’m very happy with what I have so far. One of those chapters that feels like everything’s coming together exactly as I want it, you know?

I have some pretty major dental work towards the end of the month — and thank you all again for subscribing; thanks to you, I can afford the dental work I’ve needed to have done since like 2012 — but that shouldn’t impact forty-four, at least. Maybe forty-five will have to wait an extra day or two while I roll around making sad noises.

I'm glad you're able to do this. *insert tone deaf joke about teeth in the UK*

"...while I roll around making sad noises." Hehe, just like the first years 🤭

If you are happy with your writing, we will be ecstatic. Teeth stuff. Ugh. Is it getting resolved?

Also having lots of teeth work right now, and it takes it out of you. Thanks so much for the cheerleader chapters this month, they're just what I needed. Looking forward to some more Dorley.

It’s going to take most of the year — in fits and starts; I am not, thankfully, constantly at the dentist — but yes, it’s getting resolved. It’s also going to be *expensive*! 😭

Dental work is always expensive. Good luck with that Alyson I hope that part goes smoothly and swimmingly. Having had major dental work myself Ill be sympathizing on this side of the pond for you.

That will be a lot less irritating and invasive than what I had. It should be super smooth. I had half my teeth out and partial dentures on the upper and lower, but needs must for sure.

I actully felt better right away after having that done than I have in a LONG time. My teeth were a constant pain in my head and it was like going from a constant 6 in my mouth to a 1 on the pain scale. Now everyone is going to experience things differently, and I hope what you are having done is going to help you feel your best!

Had an implant done a couple of years ago. It was considerable faff, but so worth it. Hope it all goes well
