I feel like I always say something like, "This one was a long time coming," but, wow, this one really was. Apologies!

The illustration here is, once again, Beatrice as she was in the 90s, courtesy of my wonderful friend Emory Ahlberg.

Slowly catching up on this AMAZING story! I have to say, I'm blown away! Again! You've created such a complex and fascinating world with a cast of characters that I can't help but be invested in. Here are my thoughts: First off, the opening with Bea's backstory was incredible. She's such a wonderfully complex character, and I love how her relationships with Valerie and Elle and the other women are both intricate and messy. It's beautiful to see how they all fit together, even though it's not always easy. I also have to say that you're making me feel a little sorry for Declan, which is not something I thought was possible. Of course, I still feel the most sorry for Valerie, who has had to deal with him and all the psychological pressure he's put on her. It's amazing that she's still sane after everything she's been through. Will continues to be a character that I'm super interested in, and Steph is the perfect foil for him. I can't wait to see where their relationship goes in the future. Callum is a bit of a mystery to me at this point. Valerie clearly has good reason to dislike him, but I feel like there might be a glimmer of something good in him. Although, if that's the case, he needs to watch himself around Dorothy and her goons. The love scene between Aaron and Steph was everything. I love these two together, but I'm also scared for them. I have a feeling that the other shoe is about to drop. And Frankie! She's such an interesting character, and I believe her when she says she's remorseful for her time at Dorley Hall. But when she spills about Dee/Bea to Val, I can't help but wonder if she'll now tell Val that Bea's running Dorley now??? Oh! And that line about "Elle's little project" and Declan has me on the edge of my seat. What does it all mean??? I can't wait to see what happens next! But now I need to sleep! What another amazing read! 💖

Thank you!!! I've had so much fun with Dorothy's little gang and I can't wait to hear what you think about future developments... 🥰

Sue is a very brilliant young lady. Precocious indeed! Probably best not to mention the sex work, only makes sense. Scarlett Meadows is a fantastic name, I love it! Val thinks Bea is dead, that is an interesting note [ I had to double check that Dee was indeed Bea, just to be safe. Calum continues to be a twit, unfortunate. Rachel is hilarious and Melissa is having a ball with the secrets. Kidnapping is fine actually, look at all the proof! Christine and Paige are so cute helping keep Abby busy. Shahida seems to at least want to connect with her. Polyship still sails. Bea and Elle meeting at last! It was absolutely wonderful. I've been looking fforward to it since the preview months ago. Pippa looking after Aaron is so nice and showing him the security because she was worried, so cute! Mia causing problems for Melissa is hilarious and wow Rach such a great memory. Aaron's little pep talk with Stef was perfect, so cute. Yeah you do? OH Stef! Oh the bar and the celebration, that was rough as it was supposed to be. Val and Franky seem at their wits end and bonding and now Val knows the ttruth. Every chapter is great but this one really knocked it out of the park!

Oh goodness, one of the main things I've been worrying about ever since Val got introduced would be that somehow she would find out that Bea is running Dorley Hall now without getting the rundown on how it's been reformed, and feeling 100% betrayed, like Bea joined the other side. At least she got the rundown before finding that out here, so my worst fear is put to rest. I guess we'll have to see later if she still feels a little bit betrayed now that Bea is continuing the (albeit better) cycle.

Gosh another brilliant chapter. There’s so so much. Steph and Aaron are too cute and “yeah you fucking do” I am loving Steph in her confident era. God I love those dorks so much. Now Bea…I am once again just enthralled with her story and her journey. Elle and Bea meeting for the first time and the celebration of Linda’s life are both excellent. Though, I just wonder what is going to happen when Bea tells Teri, Ashley and Sue about her. Her story, what she went through. Like holy hell I don’t know how this is going to go and I worry that it is going to go poorly. Especially because well, I don’t believe Teri, Sue or Ashley have shown up or even been mentioned in 2019. And finally. Poor Val. Poor Val, but she has something to hold onto, Bea is alive, she finally knows that.

This is the first chapter I paid to get early and I'm so fucking glad I did!! I recently introduced a friend of mine, I didn't think they'd get much out of it because they're a CAFAB non-binary rather than a terminally online trans woman but they love it!! they're on chapter 10 or so rn I think

Valyusha

I guess they probably wanted her to make dorley hall into somewhere that helps trans people, and Bea could not. Thus they no longer on good terms

Bri

At this point, I would be surprised if they’re still alive. We know Beatrice’s had people killed before, she’s capable of doing it. (Well, washed out, whatever fate akin to death that involves.) My guess is they didn’t want to see the Hall continue in any capacity, and threatened to go public with what they knew, and Bea, Elle, or both had them silenced.

Lucy Severine

Glad to have more :) I'd really like/hope that we get some more 2003 early days between Bea and Elle, negotiating their frankly initially very unsure alliance and settling into the connection they end up having?

Andi

Alternatively, they live a quiet life in the countryside, except for how they continuously keep up a steady stream of ordered-online custom mugs shipped to Dorley Hall to tease Bea about her horrendously funny job. I can hope.

I Just noticed that the exported epub has the right content, but is shown with the wrong title in my reader (I was going to reopen, and there were 2 chapter 27 there)

alysongreaves

I think that was the first (of many) mistakes I fixed, but I'll check again when I get back to the computer, thank you :)

Aria

Probably I'm with the old version the , i downloaded it Thursday morning while going to the clinic
