Hi! Just letting you know that I’m perhaps two-thirds done with chapter 31, and I’m expecting to have it finished within the next week. (I had intended to do a bunch of work on it today, but the chronic pain fairy hit me with her very large stick, so I’ve spent most of the day failing to sleep.)

I’m also considering moving to a two-week Patreon exclusivity period. When I set up this Patreon, chapters were shorter on average and came out more often, and I thought one week would be quite sensible. Now, I’m less sure. Let me know if you have any thoughts :)

I’m also half done with the next chapter of Every Movement, I’ve got the draft of the first chapter written for another project, and I’m about halfway through editing the revised version of Show Girl (which I will put up as a complete epub/PDF on the $5+ tiers while I work on the epilogue).

Take care of yourself and your health that is the first priority. Everything else can wait. I thought this was a stealth drop for a second and was going to tell you to get more rest. If you need a longer exclusivity time frame do that. It's whatever you are comfortable with. Always looking forward to more anything you write.

Looking forward to it! I don't mind what the exclusivity period is, I'm happy to pay to see it early. I started supporting when I had just caught up to where you were at and I had all the momentum and wanted to read the next chapter, I think a lot are like me, so I think it's financially sensible (&reasonable) to set the exclusivity so a reader coming off that first read-through will usually have a tempting little extra chapter available on the patreon.

I’m a patron, so I’m totally comfortable with a longer exclusivity period. 😅 At the end of the day, though, my answer is always going to be the same, even if I weren’t a patron: do what works best for you, and what supports your health and well-being best.

For my part, as soon as a chapter drops I want to be able to discuss it with other readers, whether or not they're patrons…

I don't care about exclusivity at all, I subscribe to your patreon to support you. Make it 1 week, make it 2 months, make it a year and a half, I'm here either way. 2 weeks might be a better business decision for you, cause it creates more hubbub around the chapters and gives people more reason to join your patreon.

Gonna be honest for a second I thought it was a stealth drop at the funniest moment possible again.
