How far would you be willing to go for your best friend?
Alex is a young man in the employ of James McCain: founder of a small software company, old family friend, and the only person Alex sees with any regularity. And with a trade show coming that could make or break the company, Alex has been working harder than ever before to get everything ready, to make James proud.
But when the models they’ve booked fall ill just days before the event, someone has to step in and fill their shoes… and their outfits.
Now Alex has to decide just how far he’s willing to go — and what he’s willing to wear — for James.
A story of romance, self-discovery, and a truly embarrassing dress.

The revised edition of Show Girl is finally complete! All $5 and up patrons can download a copy of the eBook right here. It’s the exact same .EPUB file that will be available on Amazon, Itch and other storefronts.

If you prefer a physical copy, from June 6th 2023 you’ll be able to buy the paperback on Amazon.

This version will be kept up to date with any typo corrections, so please let me know if you spot any!

I’ve tested this file on the Kindle and Google Play Books apps on my Android phone, and on a handful of Windows readers, but I don’t own an e-reader or an iOS device. If the formatting looks funky, let me know and I’ll see if I can fix it :)

Edit 2023-05-28: Missing word corrected in chapter five, thanks Becca!

Edit 2023-05-30: Updated TOC.

Edit 2023-05-31: Typo correction: ‘rum’ instead of ‘rim’. Lol.

Edit 2023-06-01: Typo correction: upper-case I instead of lower-case L. How did that even happen?

I just finished reading this on iOS Books app. The templating there seemed a-OK. Thank you for a fun whirlwind egg-cracking romp! Felt somewhat like the billionaire/assistant romances that’ve become popular recently, but their established friendship helps cut down the ick factor from that genre. I definitely feel some jealousy of Alex’ talent at adapting to being herself, and all the assistance she receives.
