hello everyone, I'm working on improving stability, uncached full files will take a while to load and imports are a bit backlogged both due to bandwidth. Thank you.

Damn that was cool!

Enjoying the story, but can't help but mention that there are other sensor modalities aside from LWIR (thermal). Although LWIR can image through some obscurants (depends on particle size, but actually does work through some fogs) MWIR is also a good choice to see through haze and image certain airborn gasses. SWIR (or the expanded Vis-SWIR) is a readily available imaging technology suitable for man-portable/wearable applications that is known to image through fogs as well as useful with covert illumination. Also worth noting LIDAR (optimally uses SWIR bands) is a useful ISR tool and there are many techniques using RF energy for detection and some level of identification (such as IED/disturbed earth).
