Posted all this from a single google doc file that ended up being 23100+ words.

For reference, a chapter is usually aimed for 2000 words.

Ergo: I am burnt to a crisp. And afraid there might be some errors or older versions of stuff somehow snuck behind, so please let me know if anything ended up as a "Wait, when did X happen?" That's likely a remnant from a prior revision.

Next book will have more slice of life back up in the clan, I think we've had enough action for a good long while ;]

IRL news - I was laid off my work, so I have to put time into finding a new job. Most of the time that should have gone into job searching was spent on the story, so I need to prioritize myself before I can start book 5. =[

I might need another month to get everything back together on my end! Of course, billing will remain off if that happens.

Thanks for the support till now!  Hope it was a fun read, I might go back and do some light edits, the last wrap up chapter still feels like it could use a bit more, but I really need a break first!

I mean isn't it just clan winterscar, its boys shadow-whatever that are hoping for a ring to finish the merger, and some fodder at this point? I mean, imps and a city can't stop a feather and winterscar got 2 of them and a sorceror-knight, and top management/sword-saint.

Now we have to ask ourselves the real questions. Like, how many relic armors does a Feather chassis count for when determining House Winterscar's allotment?

I think the real question is how many other Houses are gonna say a word about it when the crazy Winterscars come back, now with their extremely violent former head how turned into a feather

While I'm super happy that we get the entire book, I'm super sad you got laid off. Fuck bittersweet; that's a super bummer. I couldn't imagine juggling a job and a webserial, so I'm sure you'll find a new position with bosses that recognize what an amazing employee you would be. For sure, definitely prioritize what the math tells you to prioritize. Anyone with a smidge of empathy gets it, and sometimes it's a silver living to walk away from a work for awhile.
