I was really hoping at the end of last episode that the game thing would be like a non diagetic visual style choice. I completely agree about the quantifying game elements taking away from the fun of fantasy.

Yeah, the videogame aspect just doesn't seem to fit. Really took me out of it. I'm assuming it gets explained further in the story b/c there's no way something this hyped, is this.....basic.
