Great reaction and it really is one of the best Godzilla movies, you shared your earliest memories of Godzilla, so I´ll share mine too, my introduction was also the Matthew Broderick movie and also in the 90´s as a kid I remember watching the Godzilla animated/cartoons, the one that also included Godzooky. Regarding Godzilla minus 1, I really am amazed how much effect wise they did with the pretty small/limited budget, truly amazing work. and as ya´ll mentioned the story really did have a lot of heart regarding the story of the Pilot EDIT Also thanks for doing movie reactions too btw. especially with guests reactors.

Minus one is a much more serious Godzilla movie, but they knocked it out of the park for the budget they had. A lot of those movie get pretty silly which is part of the charm they have and why I love them. My first introduction to Godzilla was the 1962 King Kong vs Godzilla, I rooted for Kong just cause he was the underdog.

First ever experience with Godzilla was actually the original, Gojira (great band, by the way). My brother gifted me the DVD for my birthday when I was younger. And then the 1998 film, which I actually liked. Saw it in theaters opening weekend. This one, though, If enjoyed more than any of the others. Great flick. Love that you guys are doing movie reaction again.

This Godzilla move, more than any, made me care about the people underfoot. So simple and easy to relate to, coming from a complex situation. It’s a fascinating period of time I don’t really know a lot about. The director, actors, animators all did brilliant work.
