I think something like getting a chance to vote on the themes for the songs you make would be great. Like maybe every month or every quarter or so, you'd post a new poll with different themes: e.g. orchestral fantasy, modern ambient, modern battles, celtic, sci-fi, western, metal, etc etc. And then patrons would vote on them (perhaps more than one vote per patron, so we could vote for all the themes we're interested in rather than just one), and then the themes with the most votes would be considered for upcoming tracks. Maybe for an odd track here and there, Patrons would get an exclusive alt version (that way there is something special only patrons get but it's not going to take up too much of your time).

Nice music! Although I like every track, my personal favorite is Royal Garden. I love the variety of instruments, especially the flute. I'd love to hear more of it. Please have a listen to this youtube video with music from a rather odd movie. The music playing at 31:37 is so nice. Here's a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmxxxAhmhts

These are both good ideas. I like the poll, particularly. It would be better if I can round up some more people here to be active participants in such a thing. I'm hoping to boost membership, which I've rather thoroughly failed to do the last few years. Having a 'choose a theme' vote seems fun, though!

That flute part is nice. I can't identify exactly which flute is being used for that one, but fluid performances like that (especially with quick passages) are tough to pull off with samples. In Royal Garden, the flute is a Chinese Xiao and is a mixture of single notes (called 'multisamples' in the biz) and parts of recorded phrases. The phrases definitely boost the realism, and you can make unique performances if you are only using chunks of various phrases, but it's a bit limiting, too. Ideally, one of these days I'll have the budget to hire soloists for pieces like that. I'll see if I can get another nice flute piece in for upcoming releases, though!
