Perhaps that is for withstanding Thor's size, since you know, he is an absolute unit. Her hair design is also impressive, feels contrast with her dress' color. Good thing Atreus is well-disciplined by his dad or he might cut her hair just like in mythology.

Instead looking violence, she insists the payment of blood in another way. Much, much less blood. And Kratos honors her choice between life and death.
