Regarding how to proceed with the closure afterwards, I currently have three plans.

Plan A: I will change the current $5 fee to $0.01 and disable the publishing interface for this membership tier. This way, I can still update some content in my free time, and if I want to reopen Patreon later, I just need to adjust the price. The only downside is that once a member cancels their subscription, they won’t be able to rejoin this tier. I will also test the feature that allows waiving membership fees.

Plan B: Disable the publishing interface. All members’ subscription data will be retained, but I won’t be able to update Patreon anymore. Additionally, if I decide to reopen it later, the platform’s commission rate will become higher.

Plan C: Waive the monthly membership fee entirely. However, this requires manual operation every month, and I’m worried I might forget to do it. Moreover, other people will be able to join the membership for free.

If anyone is familiar with the platform's rules, please let me know in the comments if I have missed anything.
