This is the result of my first original character I guess. I still tried to create an animation for her, but I'm kinda confused about how to animate this pose, so I guess I made her breathe?? I hope you'll still like the result!

The winner of the pool is Sena Kashiwazaki! Finally, a non-Fate hero! I hope I can create something special with this one!

As usual, patrons who subscribed when I post this will get the coupon according to the tiers. If you aren't subscribed yet, you can get the models on Artstation Store or Patreon Shop.

That's it for today, thanks for all your support and see you in the next update!

Absolutely amazing! Even the breathing still looks good, and the wagging tail fits perfectly but the ear looks to move a little to fast

Thank you! Yeah, the animation is a bit of a mess. I don't really have a clear plan at the start. I hope I'll do better on the next model.

kekeoj

Don't need to worry the outcome's are so good!

Mish

Wow this looks awesome, like the little touches of clothing moving as she wags her tail!!

Dragnfly

This is so cute! And there's a lot of really impressive details here. Like how when the one ear flinches, the other one moves a little too, and how the skirt bits lift a little in reaction to the air movement from the tail. And that expression is lovely.

Thank you! I'm not sure how I'll animate this at the start, so I kept adding little details, I'm glad you're noticing them :D

Adding interesting motion to a stationary pose is a real skill. Idle animations are helluva important in games and movies, for example. And especially with 3D because people notice static or lacklustre poses all the more. It makes me think of a whole scene that feels very alive apart from what we see here. And what is art if not creating something which conjures impressions in others

ucupumar

Yeah, creating idle animation is really tricky. The last two models have been really difficult for me. And I'm still not sure about the end result with this one, it's kinda a mish-mash of different things. I'm still learning tho, I hope I can still do better next time.

Your idea is great. Execution is good, maybe could use some refinement but I'd still be happy with it if it were a commission. So your creative instincts are in the right place. Creating is hard. Tweaking just takes time.

I've been staring at this gif for a while (it's very mesmerizing) and then finally read what you've to say, lol. To my eye-wide-surprised, seeing the winner being Sena bring tears to my eyes. You do amazing job as always!
