Poll Verdict (Patreon)

Alright, so, now that it is 2026, I am officially announcing the poll results for the new story.

Here are the results.

Arcane Dawn came in last, with 14% of the total votes, at 18 votes.

Starlit Soul came in first, with 43% of total votes, at 53.

Return of the Hero came in first, with 43% of total votes, at 53.

Return of the Hero and Starlit Soul fought each other for first the whole way, never straying more than a percent or two away from the other. They were pretty evenly tied, honestly, through the whole thing. This, truthfully, surprised me. I expected one or the other to run away with it. RH was usually in the lead votes-wise, though vocal support for Starlit was far higher.

Now, here's what this means.

I will be writing both Return of the Hero and The Starlit Soul.

They will have one chapter a week to start. Return will be posted on Thursdays. Starlit on Tuesdays. This pace will be maintained for a while, until I get a bigger backlog written for both and can do a larger chapter dump. The patreon will likely remain 10 chapters ahead for both, and I will end up posting both to Spacebattles and RoyalRoad, again, when I get a bigger backlog written for a more substantial chapter dump.

I will create 2 new tiers for Patreon. 1, for updates to both Return and BOC. 2, for updates to both Starlit and BOC, so you can follow whichever one. It will be set at the same price as the highest tier now, so it shouldn't cost you anything to swap between them (lmk if it works like that, everything I've found said it should be good and not cost y'all anything.) The 3rd, eventual, tier, will be for all three and will be slightly more expensive.

The first release will be the first three chapters of each. Anyway, thank you all for your support so far and hope you continue to enjoy!
