Oh, that somehow reminds me of the legendary evolution hint she got. "The form is not wrong because it is many, it is wrong because it is not yet one." I thought it might have something to do with MC's split(?) personality, but what if it's about bringing together all the different branching evolution paths? Grant her desire to not lock herself out of her abilities by evolving to a path that happens to fit her circumstances better for the moment.
