(On that note, just to give you guys another update, the repair shop couldn't give me a straight answer but I think it might be drive failure so I'm looking into replacing that part. And even if it's not, against my better judgement and bank account I decided to just get a second computer on Cyber Monday, even if I can't really afford it. This way, I can ideally have a backup rig and it hopefully won't get as bad as it has been this year in terms of the long dry spells.)
