I remember the first time I watched this, I just sat with my eyeballs wide and my mouth open. Stepping into a true nightmare of a film.

This was my introduction to Rob Zombie... since then, I have been a big fan of his movies and music (I've even been to see him in concert)

Now this movie is not for all horror fans. It likes to make you feel uncomfortable with high tension scenes, and then it chucks in a load of gore at you just for the hell of it.

The synopsis in a nutshell

The film starts with a police siege on the Firefly's family home (Fireflys aka The Devils Rejects). During this siege, the mother of the Firefly's is captured, and the Sheriff's brother is caught in the crossfire and dies. The remaining firefly family members escape to a motel, where they kidnap and torture two families. Meanwhile, the Sheriff promises to capture and kill the remaining Firefly's for killing his brother.

I think horror in general gets a bad wrap and that's why they get such low scores!😭
