Happy Friday Horror Heads!!

Back with some more Alien Earth!

I just don't understand how this show just gets better and better. Even though there wasn't much action in this one, and it was a little bit more drama-based. I'm still on the hype train for it! I can't wait to see what happens next. Also, who else wants a pet xeno? Only me?! 😂

Right! *Cracks knuckles! Sorry for the wall of text on each episode Jonesy. But I love me some Alien action 😁 Finding out that Wendy is actually picking up the Xeno's language was a cool plot development. I have wondered over all of these years how they actually speak to each other, other than the hisses and screams we get from the movies. That poor Sheep and its eye trauma. A very cool scene to watch, but I am starting to wonder if the Oculopus feeds off the host and then has to move on to a new host in a later episode. Possibly a human and then it suddenly has the power of speech 🤔 I really enjoyed Nibs scene, showing that PTSD can manifest in completely different ways for different people. Most of us associate it with adult life, but seeing how she reacted when seeing the Doc, makes it a lot more dangerous and scary as a child-like tantrum or anger outburst will be way more deadly in that Android body. 🫨 "Blankets with sleeves are bangin'" had me dying mid-way through the episode. Never change Jonesy, please! 😂 I'm still intrigued by Ade Edmondson's Exec character portrayal. He's very calm, controlled, yet he comes across as scarily manipulative. I suppose he needs to be being Boy Kavaliers' right hand man at Prodigy. I do secretly always want him to pop a trilby hat on and pull a glass of Whiskey out of his jacket pocket and slip into his Eddie persona 🤣 As Joe already knows about the Eggs, I'm guessing Slightly will have an easy time getting him into the Lab, but at that point I don't think he has the ability to 'talk' him into getting close. More than likely he''ll knock him out or just overpower him with his Android strength. Lastly, that Chestburster scene at the end was great! I was wondering if anything could actually grow inside a Lung trapped in a glass tube with no real blood flow. I think you nailed it on the head when you suggested it adapted to the liquid environment and hasn't fully formed limbs (yet)! When Wendy started to charm it though.....I've never wanted a pet Xeno more in my entire life. So cool! Again, thanks for sharing your reaction to this series Jonesy. Whilst this one was slower in pace and definitely more of a story/character progression episode, it was still a good one. See you in the next episode boss 🫡

No worries for the wall of text 😊 I always assumed that the xeno's talked to each other with wavelengths, kinda like bats 😂 I have 0 facts or knowledge to back this up though!! Interesting theory about the Oculapus, I hadn't thought about it feeding off its hosts. EYE thought it would just attach itself. I also do wonder if it's absorbing knowledge while attached. Yeah, Nibs PTSD was brilliantly done. It adds an element of danger having a child with PTSD but the strength of a bloody ox! Blankets with sleeves are baning and I will die on that hill 😂 I'm still shocked that that is Ade Edmondson!!! The xenos are pretty darn good a evolving quickly, being in an isolated, fluid-filled lung aint going to stop them 😂 Thank you Caboose!
