My brain in playing with the concept of a dumb parody of the classic game, Myst.

In Myst, you explored the titular Myst island, and four other realms that were hidden away on it (Mechanical Age/Stoneship/Channel Wood/Selenitic Age)
In Moist you should be able to do the same, but which realm would you want to visit first?

Unsure if normal size Chloe with perspective, or giant Chloe coming down to wreck it.

Oystein

I mean, we all wanna get TITANIC, but plot-wise that should be saved for last.

Silvador

I've never had the chance to play Myst. All I know is it's one of those cornerstone of gaming games. I do want to play it, however. I should see if it's on Steam...

jollyjack

It's really aged. There's a remake called "realMyst" which brings a few up-to-date design principles to it, but the underlying game is the same.

Jellox

Voted for Pneumatic Palace because I would love to see Chloe ride the Sybian saddle.

Amethystine

The VR version that Jellox mentioned is also playable without VR. It's a full and faithful remake of Myst, and it came out in 2021. As a huge Myst fan, it was awesome replaying it that way. It's still first person, but you simply walk around, instead of being locked to the 'nodes' of the original. -- Riven Remake is currently on the way, too!

Amethystine

I always did Channelwood first [because that's the one I stumbled into first], so I vote for the Forest. The most appealing is the tentacles/slime one, but I think.. save the best for last! :}

Jay Jay

But I love over analyzing the plot of mindless cheesecake!

TetsuKnife

I'd like to see Chloe meet some female natives for once, but that or something Titanic wouldn't get complaints, either...

ShadyIMG

Titans.

Savage Shark

I think Chloe should visit the natives, open up negotiations. ;3

Woynich Fermat

While Titans are winning, and they are definitely what I’d wanna see the most, I’d kinda like to build up to them through the other ages. Thats why I’m voting for machines.

love the premise! i think a lot of folks are missing the word "first" and just voting for their fav, so IMO you should write it in whatever order feels like it flows best narratively..obviously Big Chloe is essential but I echo the sentiment that we should build up to a finale where she outgrows the island, rather than blowing that first

LoquaciousJango

Garden of Titans feels like endgame content. I think she should acquaint herself with the locals first, then see the interesting toys they have on offer.

Sparkbox

Personally... A quick whistle stop tour around the Garden of Titans, get ceiling threateningly big, and then go visit the natives with a height advantage~

Chumlee99

Chloe's gonna be some gigantic horny monster by the end of this, destroys the whole island with snu snu

Goblinounours

Let's be honest, the most on-brand thing Chloe could do is visit a place where there be Titans.

Cezar Nix

Titans, duh. 😁 Also, this reminds me of when you used to do those How to Play comics. I remember your Myst one, and I always wondered which puzzle you thought was so obscure that everyone would need a guide. I seem to recall the player angrily yelling "How the hell was I supposed to work THAT out?"

NadderHed

If you make a game starring Chloe I'm 110% buying it.

LavaHot

Uh, if you make a full Myst clone, I'm fucking down.

CrowMagnon

I'd want to visit the Garden of Titans the most, but that kind of makes me want to do it last. Like how it's a little bit saddening in RE:Village that Lady D is the first boss.

ZeroV60

Dang, was hoping for slime and tentacles
