The topics were definitely interesting and I was swayed many times lol. The basic story of Pinocchio is a wood carver named Geppetto makes a wooden puppet that eventually comes alive and he has to prove himself as brave, truthful, obedient and selfless to become a real boy. He gets caught up in some stuff and that's why his nose kept growing bc he wasn't being honest. In the end, he saves Geppetto and dies but the fairy saw he proved himself as being selfless, brave, etc so she brought him back to life and he became human in the end. I think that's why everyone had such a hard time distinguishing if this was murder vs vandalism because we don't know if this was before he came alive or after. But in the end I agreed with Vernon's point about this being too unique of a case to see it as either so I leaned more towards murder. The happiness one was great and the8 summed it up well. If you think about the times you felt in the past and realized it was happiness, I feel like that's more reminiscing than anything. Wonwoo mentioned it was like a feeling of longing and I agreed 100%. The last one I said definitely good intentions cannot exonerate bad outcomes lol. Of course it's a case by case basis and if there's money/compensation involved, you can't be completely exonerated. These debates were definitely thought provoking and I really hope they do this more serious kind of debates again! Love seeing how their minds work. Thanks RJ 🙏🏽 next episode is really fun!
