Omg the hip hop unit’s lives are CRAZY! They always bring this energy and I’m here for it! Oh and also they do say fuck in Lalali in the beginning LMAO Lotto is originally Vernon’s song featuring Don Mills, but for concerts they created this remix version so that the whole HHU can rap on it! And of course the queen Habit!! Literally blows my mind away every time I hear it- Thanks for the reaction!! Hopefully you can check out Un Haeng Il Chi by the HHU because it’s similar to Lotto in terms of vibe and shit talk 😼

Rap line has diss tracks esp in the early years. Most popular is Un haeng il chi. There were claims some of these diss tracks are for the people/trainees who left because they don't think SVT will be successful.

From what I understand, the rap line did do more aggressive, diss track type songs but they're unreleased and rarely performed because they wanted to be more positive with their music Plus Mingyu and Vernon have said they cringe over some of their older songs but I don't know which songs they're referring to when they said that.

And thing about the lyrics is THEY AIN'T WRONG! haha Like for whoever did criticize SCoups back then, the company kept bringing him back when he was tempted to call it quits. People make lite of their efforts and yet, they were pretty successful their rookie year (from what I remember)

Seventeen was doubted a ton when they debuted, they were from a tiny company at the time- supposed to be 17 members but many trainees left most not able to handle the harsh pledis training, leaving only the 13 members. And they were loved, but also hated a lot back then especially by popular group's fans of big 3 who noticed two monsters of groups getting all the praise- bts and svt.

Thanks again for the reaction Ben! Honestly, all the units in Seventeen are fantastic on their own, and even moreso live. I am sending all the good wishes and luck because I would love for you to experience one of Seventeen's concerts live! The Hip Hop Unit performances live are on Another Level. All the energy you feel from just watching them on-screen is tenfold if not more when in a concert setting. I hope you can experience it one day! And in the meantime, thanks for letting us join you on your Diamond Life journey! :)

All of the HHU songs are great and hit the nerve they are intended for, but there is something about the unreleased tracks that just hit differently and go harder. Un Haeng Il Chi is one of them, but also their performance of Sukyo, What's the Problem, MMO, Joker, Phenomenon...you gotta check those out Ben.

I think the one in the new album is a clean version but he has to listen to the explicit version. There is a video that has the lyrics to the song and the 9 members that participated in the original version for the LV fashion show on YouTube. I think the clean version in the album may have be OT13 but I could be wrong.

I don't know if it was this song, but I read somewhere that there's a diss track that was written after Vernon entered Show Me the Money and got trashed repeatedly by another participant for being inexperienced and also for being an idol. Apparently that got S.Coups quite mad, for obvious reasons.
