I work IT, and have set my background and lock screen to Elfen Lied wallpaper. I will both inspire fear and know never to talk to anyone that says "hey! Cool wallpaper!" This is not a bit. I literally just did it.

Talking about looseleaf tea, I recommend Seven Cups Fine Chinese Teas. They have tons of varietals not available elsewhere in the states, you can order online from anywhere, and if you're ever in Tucson, Arizona, they have a great storefront with traditional tea service. My favorites are the Sticky Rice Tuocha and the Monkey Picked Wulong.

Got a recommendation for y'all: "Let's Play" airing on Crunchyroll with 4 episodes currently out. The show is about a 22 year old aspiring indie game developer whose first game is an Undertale style RPG based on pacifism. A famous streamer fails to understand the concept and reviews the game as the worst ever. His toxic fanbase review bombs her game so bad it becomes the lowest rated game on a Steam like marketplace. Wouldn't you know it, the streamer then moves next door to the mousy game developer who feels like her dreams been crushed. After the third episode I was hooked. Funny, charming and smarter than I expected. The main character has a friend group that reminded me of shows like Genshiken and Honey and Clover. The opening and closing themes are very chill lofi grooves. It has Heather Nick and Matt coding. Just make it through episode 3 before you decide to drop or not!

Our long national nightmare is finally over. I heard this episode early because I was working when it accidentally dropped and immediately listened. I was so happy to be done with it and glad that you guys had already finished watching it. Can't wait for you guys to start watching something with substance and not just shock value again. I am so happy for you all that its done. Let us rejoice!

Seriously. I feel so out of step with the general consensus. Berserk is of course fantastic, way better than Elfen Lied to the point where there’s not even a comparison, but there were times I had to stop reading for a while because it was so distressing and bleak. Elfen Lied went down easy by comparison 😆

I Last saw Elfen Lied in 2006 and had planned on doing a rewatch sometime soon. So thanks for covering it you made the rewatch better. Now that its over, I was surprised at how much I didn't care for it on this watch. It didn't live up to what I thought I remembered it being. Which basically was the murderfest in the first episode. On a side topic, Matt, you should look into metal gear model kits. currently there are preorders for reruns of Rex and Ray. I have them and they are pretty cool.
