January 2025 Battle Plan (Patreon)

Happy New Year everyone! I'm still getting settled back into things after the holidays, but I figured I'd share a little bit of what's going on in January.

I'm going to be working on a game for Boss Rush Jam 2025!
Its not a lewd one unfortunately, but I'm super excited to work on some game art assets! I've helped out with some smaller jams before and it's always so much fun. This one might be a little more involved though depending on the theme (TBA) and scope of the project. It'll pretty much last all through January and I'm not sure how much it will affect my workload so I've been trying to get as much content as I can queued up before the jam kicks off in a couple days. You can check out the game jam here! I'll probably post some of the assets and screenshots once the jam is over and we've submitted.

Commission stuff!
With the jam taking up an uncertain amount of my time, I'll probably keep projects pretty light for January. I have a few smaller animation commissions left in the queue I'll probably try to crack out so I don't have to think too much. Plus it'll also help get me closer to actually opening commissions properly again. Currently on the list of work is a guest animation for the 3rd Crisis team, a smaller multi-scene project, and finally taking out that Eris + Aqua animation I've had on the backburner forever. It's gonna be really hard not to get distracted with random other projects next month XD Aside from those I've got a few more sponsored doodle pages in the queue that should take me through the end of January.

Personal Projects and Patreon stuff!
I'm coming up on 200k soon! I figured I'd hit it around the end of the year but it felt like momentum kind of stopped for a while. I want to do a larger project for it but I absolutely know I'm going to overscope with it, so I'll probably start prepping some stuff for that over January and actually tackle it in February. There's currently a poll going on over on twitter, between Zoey and Calico that is nearly tied so go vote if you haven't already! I've got some fun ideas for both but I didn't think the split would be so close! I've also been wanting to update a few Patreon assets too like the banner and pfp but I don't know how much time I'll have for that among everything else this month, maybe I'll try to knock those out really quick after I finish the Raine animation. With the new year I also wanted to enable annual billing too. I know a lot of you are subbed for the long haul so it would be a nice little QoL option so you don't have to manage subscriptions every month. I'll try to work on getting that set up in the next couple days.
