In all fairness, both parties of the relationship seem much more happier that way, considering with Byland having such a rocking body now, and Bernice admitting that they should at least try something like that now.

Well, since the two of them decided to get together after all this time, then that at least makes this even adorable, since Byland is now being such a supportive girlfriend to Bernice, considering that she was the one who came up with Bernice’s whole new look, as well as for how she’s now applying any sunscreen on her back, in case for any kind of sunburns. Although, i think i noticed a little error in between panels, because in Panel 1 and 4, Bernice’s top is off, so Byland can easily rub some sunscreen on her back, but on Panel 2, her top is back on again.

I mean sex does tend to cause an emotional bond. Wilma technically didn't get time to be mad at her husband for his scheming before she was changed and when she and he "came back" their dynamic was already changed so much. And Byland never actually did anything wrong, it was the book. So it's a stretch to be that mad or mad at all at anyone of them romantics wise.

Then again, even if Byland is innocent by a little bit of a technicality, there’s still the part to remember with how some girls like Candy were only considerate enough to forgive him for what he had involuntarily done to them, all because he’s now in the same boat of being stuck with a voluptuous body like the rest of them.

Her neck strap is still on through the whole thing its just that in only one of those panels are her shoulders and head out of the way so you can see it.

This definitely feels like the wrapping up phase of the chapter, as now that we’re shown with how the girls and Byland are managing with those new bodies of theirs, as well as for some improvements on some relationships, like with regarding with Bernice and Byland, and Wilma and Cici, but in all consideration, with the way that they just send that book down into the ocean, there’s probably a possibility that it might wash up ashore somewhere, with any ready moment to be cluelessly picked up by someone else at some point.
