In reference to Araragi's opening monologue about finality. From a metanarrative perspective, the Monogatari series is organized into "seasons". First Season ended between the 2 Nekomonogatari arcs, you've now finished Second Season, and Tsukimonogatari now marks the beginning of Final Season.
