Also she's floating not dive bombing :D , gotta find a way to imply the floating more.

Not familiar with the character but maybe some spacey looking energy around her thats subtle and pretty to imply the floating?

Yep, you're spot on, I'll be adding some fx on the outlines, I just don't want to rely on the fx too much as the pose and setting are super important as well. I'm planning of making almost fully foam scene and less emphasis on the water as I feel like that's the major factor in this looking like a dive bombing set.
