Just watching the first few minutes, and my first thought was Casper is rocking his inner disco dude with that open shirt. XD

Yeses. Me crave content! 🥳

Historically, Angelica had already been happily married with children in England when Eliza and Alexander met. However, the Schuyler's didn't really approve of Angelica's husband, as Angelica had eloped with him. I believe only Eliza and Alexander had a proper wedding, and Eliza was the only one who didn't elope among her siblings. Lin-Manuel Miranda took some creative liberties.

omg i love this so much

Felicity McDonald

Oh this one's gonna be a joy to watch when it's edited on YouTube for sure! 😂

I believe that is Chris Jackson as Washington in the ball scene actually! During the line "trying to catch your eye from the side of the ballroom", there's a little moment in the midground/background where Washington briefly goes over to Hamilton and shakes his hand or something

TheTuneShifter

Just so you know, Hamilton was actually not known for being a ladies’ man. Martha Washington DID, however, name her cat after him for all he did for America. The comparison to a tomcat was not even one made at the time! 😂 In summary, it’s half-true.

Getting flashed by Casper is absolutely what my money's for 👍🏼

Ms. Chuck Terry

Fun fact. Fashion historians disapprove of the white veil placed on Eliza. That wasn’t a thing for brides at the time. I’m ok with it because it conveys the wedding to a modern audience.

Maggie Curtin

I'm pretty sure Eliza did historically write about Hamilton's eyes a lot so I would assume he did have pretty eyes

Danika Wolfbaine

I can't wait to see the YouTube release version just for the start chaos to see what Mason does

So Lin-Manuel Miranda was likely under the impression it was true, but the sad truth is that it is a disputed fact that Martha Washington actually named a cat after Hamilton, and that it likely would not have had any promiscuous connotations even if it was true. But I still wish it was. History is myth anyhow.

Alcaria Swain

I do find it amusing when he says that Hamilton sits at the right hand of the father, because he's talking about Washington but alluding to Jesus (who, in Catholicism, we would always say sits at the right hand of God, the Father.) Essentially he's mocking Hamilton saying that others are talking about him like he's the second coming of Christ.

Alcaria Swain

I don't know about his eyes. Engagement doesn't matter on Patreon, but regardless.

you're correct that in the musical the Schuyler Sisters are all single, but in real life at this time Angelica was actually already married to a man named John Church! She eloped with him in 1777 because her father wouldn't approve of the match due to his poor reputation lol. John Church was a British-born businessman who was helping to supply the Continental Army

the Harlem reference here is a nod to when Hamilton and Eliza move to their own house when he retires from government. Its located in what is now Hamilton Heights in today's Harlem

Geveryging

Dang he even predicted Luke cage

RiteTheWrongs

I think Hamilton was described as having eyes that looked blue or purple, depending on the light. Pretty rare.

Dorothy Rosenberg

Since NYC was originally a Dutch possession, Harlem is a hold over from those times.

Kat

That opening motif is the “IM ABOUT TO SAY SOMETHING IMPORTANT” one I think
