A Heads Up regarding the Patreon. (Patreon)

Heya.

Recently I've been making use of some professional consulting to assist me both in managing and the growing the patreon, the community, and my own skills as a writer. The consultant made a lot of good points, but I cannot help but hesitate at some of the proposed changes. Because of that hesitation, I feel I should inform you all before any changes are made.

I like using the "Donate and get a day of early access" model for every level, but to be truthful, I have been taking commissions and other side gigs as having patreon as my sole form of income never felt secure to me. My consultant took that and replied. "Why not offer that time and content to your patrons to ensure growth?"

I didn't have a good answer. 

So in the interest of being transparent (as I have not been very good at that recently), I want to let you know that the different tiers might start getting different rewards in the coming days/weeks. I will not be taking anything away, but adding to what you get the higher you go. The $2.50 level will remain the same as it's always been: A day early and getting to sign the doc.

It makes me feel like a sellout, and I'm not hurting for cash out here in rural Pennsylvania where the cost of living is dirt cheap, but my consultant had an answer for that too. "The bigger you get, the more you can give back to supporters."

Again I don't have a good way to refute that. 

Anyway, that's all for now. I'll send out an announcement before anything is finalized and changed.
