Hey guys,

Happy holidays! I hope everyone is getting some much-needed rest and enjoying the season.

This illustration was a little challenging but also really fun to work on. I tried to fit everyone in. Akira and Ayaka are there too, just not in the frame. Reon is included because Satsujin is basically trying to win him back, and he hasn’t spent Christmas with the Tanaka family in a long time. Satsujin is also wearing Reon’s jacket, which is why it barely fits him, but honestly it still looks good on him.

Himari has always spent Christmas with them, and recently Ashanti has started joining as well. The two kids by the tree are Shufen, the one with black hair, and Hebi’s daughter. Shufen is the older one. He usually spends Christmas with them in Tokyo, while his mother stays in Osaka.

Eiko is there too, though she tends to tune everyone out and shop online once she’s done eating.

If I have enough time, I might release a short story for patrons based on this illustration. I think it would be fun to show how everyone interacts during the holidays. And yes, believe it or not, Hiro is the one who made all the food.
