Chris, your story about the Uyghurs in Thailand is incorrect. My wife is Thai and she tells me that the Uyghurs were undocumented and no country, except the EU and UK, wants undocumented in their country. Trump is deporting undocumented, right now! Thailand had the Uyghurs in jail for 10 years trying to find a diplomatic solution but no solution was forthcoming. No third country wanted the Uyghurs. Thailand has an agreement that DPRK escapers will be sent to South Korea and not sent back to North Korea. However, no other country came forward to take the Uyghurs and so after 10 years. They have been sent back to China!! Please do not criticise Thailand when they have tried every diplomatic pathway but they were all dead ends!!

So the US has no balls and Thailand has no balls. Misery loves company. Meaning, just because other countries are just as bad as yours, that is no excuse not to do the right thing. These "undocumented" as you call them, clearly fit the requirements for asylum under US law. Asylum seekers are NOT illegal.
