A horrifying thought, but factional infighting between Xi Jinping and the Princelings might make it possible.

Good as always... Thank You Chris. Big fan been watching for years. Another reason for the invasion to take place before 2024 is that China dosnt want to deal with a second Trump presidency. Also, Chinas population is getting older. But China can just lob rockets over by the thousands. At the same time a counterattack by Japan could destroy the heart of Chinas industrial complex off of the mid coast. Which in turn can cause a massive supply chain crisis again flipping an easy win for Trump in 2024.

Dear Chris, if/when the CCP is unsuccessful in invading Taiwan (like a giant version of Argentina's defeat in the Falklands Islands), then what happens? An uprising of reformists in China? Coalition invasion of China? Tacky war films trying to portray a CCP victory instead? My preference would be peaceful reform! Xoxo from Australia.
