We Keep Getting China Wrong

There are many people who would like to help China and see the Chinese people thrive and prosper. But to some, that means helping the Chinese Communist Party, which is the biggest threat to the Chinese people's wellbeing there is. In this episode of China Uncensored, we look at what we keep getting wrong about China and the Chinese Communist Party, why conflating China with the CCP is problematic, and what things might look like for China without the CCP. Take care, Chris. I'm sure you are on a hit list.

Hey Chris, When Putin either flees or is exiled form Russia, Will the CCP take him in (providing he has something of value to trade,) or will they just let him fend for himself and try to make deals with the new leadership?

Ian Pendleton

Honestly, I think Putin would rather die before leaving Russia, no matter how much pain he causes other people by doing so. That said, if he thinks he could be able to regain control of the Russian state at a later date, he might be able to swallow his pride and remain in China for some time. I'm not an expert on these matters though, so be sure to take this with a grain of salt.
