Ultimately, China needs Japanese seafood so I doubt this will last too long.

Do you think the people of nearby nations such as Taiwan and South Korea, possibly even their governments, will work to buy up large amounts of Japanese seafood the same way nations bought up Taiwanese fruit when the CCP banned its sale?

This is so funny The CCP Tried to do a similar thing to Australia. But this time it was coal. China was purchasing all of the Australian coal they could get their hands on. Australia was protesting what China was doing inside Australia. Buying up all of the baby formula, all of the face masks, all of the hand sanitizer. They actually descended on retail stores like a locust swarm. Australian mothers could not get any baby formula for their own babies because these Chinese flash mobs bought it all up and sent it back to China. Because Australia complained they stopped all purchases of coal. This didn't work at all because a soon as the boycott was announced India came in and purchased all of the coal China didn't. I am not sure sales to China have ever been resumed.
