Well this was a chaotic experience! The characters and the style are what make this one. It felt like it was purposefully meant to be chaotic because that's what the characters are experiencing. I have heard this is MUCH different than the show but curious to hear your thoughts on the movie!

This was a groundbreaking movie in some ways. It was really a protest against Viet Nam, but they masked it with the Korean War. In the TV show, they were 3 to 5 miles behind the lines. I'm not sure about the movie. At the lines, they have medics to stabilize people and sometimes a battalion aid station before sending them to a MASH unit. Donald Sutherland (Hawkeye) was an amazing actor. If you want to see him shine, you've GOT to see Kelly's Heroes starring Clint Eastwood and Donald Sutherland. Sally Kellerman had a singing career after acting. She wasn't very popular, though. But I have an autographed CD of hers. Did you finally figure out the thing that was special about the dentist? Not really a spoiler, but only one cast member from the movie was on the TV show.
