season 2 is really when ds9 starts to form into the season long arcs format that it maintains till the end. really starts to set itself apart from tng and morph into what becomes my favourite star trek. so excited for the rest of the show, as it only gets better in quality, unlike tng where it hits its peak in seasons 3-5 and tapers off a wee bit in inventiveness and does a lot of repeat episodes and plots (still love the last two seasons). also please watch enterprise if you like ds9, i think the tones of the two series fit together really well.
