Zapp Rowsdower

Did you recognize J. Peterman's mother? She was Beverly Crusher's dead grandmother on that TNG episode, (ugh) Sub Rosa. Her most memorable role was in The Wedding Singer. - - Also, look again at the quick external shot of the fire house, about 17:40 into episode 7. Look familiar at all? The exterior of the Hook & Ladder 8 firehouse appeared in a lot of movies and shows. Most famously, as the outside of the Ghostbusters headquarters.

If there are any fans of MST3K out there, I just recognized the actor who played the fire chief in the first of these two Seinfeld episodes. Wayne Tippit. One of his earliest roles was in The Horror of Party Beach (shown on a season 8 episode of MST3K, otherwise a rarely known movie), as one of the drunks who get killed by the monster. IMDB literally lists that character as "Drunk Who Gets Killed By Monster (Uncredited)" lol
