Oh Lordy.. You don't understand child. Chief O'Brian is a Warrant Officer. It's kind of in the middle between an Officer and an Enlisted. It is very very hard to become a Warrant Officer.

I like that the episode raises the recurring discussion in Trek of what is life. Interesting questions. I wondered how the pogramming provided for holograms to become pregnant (and give birth) and to age. A good Odo episode. The Kira romance was a nice aspect. I like that guy. His talking at the onset of the embrace seemed out of place (a distraction). Sisco is a good dad. Sisco was always my No. 1 character of DS9 -- the best I can remember.
