** How did I make this poll? On my MOVIE REQUEST SITE, I filtered by the Genre "Horror" and sorted "Chronological" > "Older". I chose movies I was most interested in and those that had higher votes, from years 50's-80's, except any that have already been on recent polls.

I marked them with 🫣 ratings for how scared I am to watch them lol 😂

Blue Collar Hero

The '80s is it's own kind of special so I wouldn't group them in with the '50s classics. That said I vote for The Blob 1958 and then watch the 1988 Blob

I don't know why I didn't think of this until now, but I just realized that Army of Darkness will probably end up on next week's Modern Horror Poll and will absolutely blow everything out of the water. I guess the real question is which non-Raimi movie will get second place? I'm not a Raimi guy, but I do really enjoy all of these polls. I hope you keep doing them.
