Random note, I was confused at the beginning of the chapter with "Before Elijah left Argos", I did not realize he was there. I assumed the last chapter was in the Grove.

Wow, chosen of the world tree huh? I guess my personal theory that World Tree had planned for Elijah to "accidentally" slip into Abyss from it's own Primal Realm was somewhat right!(with portal that was opened basically by illusion created by World Tree itself) It looks more and more that World Tree is loosing the battle against the Abyss and was forced to bet everything on it's new hope - for Elijah to become the ultimate weapon against Abyss. Also his Mantle ability would potentially allow Elijah to fight the Ravener itself, I believe he has the biggest chance to save the universe from ever-growing Abyss, so becoming Chosen of the World Tree is not so sudden after all. Tftc!
