The audacity of Elijah to question another person's maturity. I almost face-palmed. Like, have you met yourself lol

Was there an illustration of Sara at one point?

BelligerentGnu

Sara is just what was needed.

Nice to see some old faces again. Sara was expected but I thought she would've been more mature than depicted. Older and possibly a 'Match' for Elijah. Wink, Wink.

Yup, she definitely took Elijah as a role model. The eccentricity, the babbling.... I wonder if she asked Kirlissa to watch some of his adventures. Huh, funny that she prefer to be called Sara.... Sarah, Sara.... Coïncidence ? It's kinda humorous (and a bit sad) that Elijah don't know how to react at being treated like a hero. Shows how much of an outcast he's been treated as. Urgh, we were warned about Draconic racism, but it's still as unpleasant as expected. Just because your personality didn't change doesn't mean it's not true, though I must admit that Sara is a lot more fun that before ^^ I'm not sure if it would be better for her to become a romantic partner or a true sibling. For sure there is a lot more affinity than before, but taking care of a little sister would fulfill a lounging in Elijah's life that haven't been taken care of since the death of Alyssa. In any case, if it does end up becoming the former, I am against anything when she's this young. She need to proritize solidifying and anchoring her self perception and moral values before messing up with anything romantic. A bad breakup could easily destroy any confidence she has in herself and permanently scar her young heart. Let's stay vigilant.

Tragic Hysteria

Wait but Sara was clearly self aware and sapient when they first met, how could she have only awakened 15 years ago?

David Brewer

"However, as they grow older and stronger, they become more self-aware.  We refer to this period as the Culling.  Most do not survive.  But if they do, they will experience a transition.  An awakening, during which the dragon core fully materializes.  This is regarded as the true beginning of a dragon’s life.  Saralinisa’s awakening was only fifteen years ago" It's odd, but apparently she was only sorta sapient in book 1.
