Hi everyone,

everything seems to be resolved for now (whatever it was, seems to have been a software issue rather than a hardware one), so here’s the finished video! I’m not entirely satisfied with how the lighting turned out in this one, but I decided not to overwork it. Since this is my first time using Blender’s Path Tracing render engine, I think I need to explore it more to really dial in the look I’m aiming for.

I’m also making a small change to the tier rewards. While 60 fps may seem smoother on paper, I found that it actually detracts from the original pacing and feel of the animation. Since these videos are created at 24 fps to maintain a more cinematic look, I’ve decided to focus on offering higher resolutions instead. Going forward, you’ll find 1K, 2K, and 4K versions available in the archive folder.

I also decided to increase the tier price from 4 to 5 dollars, I think my animations have improved a lot from where I first started and I do think this is a fair price.

However, this tier change will not affect current subscribed members, so if you subscribed for 4 dollars, it will not increase for you unless you cancel and resubscribe.
