Hey, guys. This is my first time trying out the polling tools here. With the new year, I figured I'd try something new with an eye toward projects I'll prioritize in 2019, and the ways I might expand tier options.

Don't feel obligated to participate, of course, but if you have an opinion, I'd love to gauge which things are the most important and interesting to you as Patrons!

What would you like to see more of?
(The poll should allow you to respond more than once, if there are 2 or 3 things you'd like to rank highly).

As far as I'm concerned, the downloadables are an extension of the comic, so I chose both.

Ryan M.

As much as I love the comic, I’m a patron just to help you afford things like looking after that litter of feral kittens a while back. Other: cat pictures?

akrasia

Like any fan of an artist, I'd like more of everything, please. However, even more than that I want the artist not to burn out and STOP. Keeping the artist inclined to make the art is more important than whatever our insatiable demands are :)

Maggie Warren

I love the art, and the comics; I would love to talk to you and my fellow addicts - but time is precious, and so is your sanity! I would love to hear more - much more - detail of how, and why and what was and is your inspiration!

lackadaisy

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. Thanks, Ryan. I really appreciate that there are patrons here for the *real* cats too. I can definitely share photos of my own cats, but I've got some ferals I'm taking care of right now too, with food and warming shelters set up outside. They're people-shy, but maybe I can capture some images on the sly.

Layla Lawlor

Your art is gorgeous, and I would love to see some process posts if it's not too much trouble! I am really interested in how you produce these beautiful pages.

lackadaisy

Ah, I like to think there's a happy balance to be struck somewhere between burnout and making sure this is worthwhile for Patrons. It's very kind of you to take the artist well being into concern - thank you, akrasia!

lackadaisy

Thanks for your feedback, Maggie! It's good to know you're interested in that. Do you prefer interacting in real time with live text chats or voice chats? Or do you tend to prefer more relaxed forum-style discussion?

lackadaisy

Thank you, Layla! That's definitely something I could do more of - I'm glad to know of your interest!

James Fidler

I'm here because of your art, and I want to see more of it! Also, while I am not an artist myself I still love the tutorials that you do as well. I really like seeing how artists create their work!

Kallias

I love the little contests and drawings you've done. I'm in a time zone where the livestreams are in the middle of the night for me, so the contests are another option for me to be more involved as a fan. But I'll echo some of the others in saying don't burn out! If more extra stuff adds stress and steals sleep, it doesn't sound worth it to me.

Martin Leo

I didn't pick "moar comics" as I interpreted that to mean more canon story pages and I'm sure there's already a ton of pressure on you to get those out quickly. If we're talking extra goodies, tutorials/process images are definitely my favourite, with goofy mini comics involving Viktor in a christmas sweater a close second. Also, as everyone else has said - most importantly all this at a healthy and sustainable pace so you don't wear your drawing hand down to a nub. Lackadaisy updates are a rare treat and that's ok :)

Chris Ramko

It’s all great! I’d prefer more comics, but I’ve really appreciated everything else you’ve done; the tutorials do a great job of breaking down going from blank pages to end work, I’ve got your card game, love it all!

Richard Weir

I don't actually download the downloadables to kep, as such, but I do so love to see them! And moar comics is always welcome. ;-Þ

Periwinkle

I voted "tutorials". I'm not a visual artist, but I find them both informative and entertaining. That said, I'd also consider my modest Patreon contribution well-spent if it just contributes to public comics for everyone to enjoy.

BadRoy

Tutorials for sure. They really helped me out when I was getting my start in art. I still refer to your expressions one periodically! I also love the wallpapers you put out and of course the comics are great too.

Insatiabear

Here mostly for the comics. I also selected "other" because it would be interesting to see sketches/works in progress as the artwork is going through stages. Your artwork is so layered and detailed when completed but I'm quite sure it doesn't go onto the page like that. :)

Fliff

I love all your art! Comics are great, all the sketches and tutorials you do are adorable and helpful. The playing cards are going to be AMAZING when they're done. Its just cool to be able to support you in general. 💙 I can't wait to see all the amazing stuff you make in 2019!

Susan Smith

I’m a patron because I believe in paying artists directly for enjoyable content. You do you, and I’ll chip in.

Abigail Hilton

I love all the sketches and funny little AU stuff you post. It doesn't need to be polished. That side content is just a lot of fun.

Baxder

I didn't pick "moar comics" either because I want this gorgeous ride to last forever! I think the pace is perfect, especially given the quality of Tracy's art; that's not something I want to see rushed. (Not that I think she's the type who would offer more if it would cause the product to suffer, but still). I love the downloadables, and have been dying for the card deck since Tracy first teased it!

Maggie Warren

The latter, very definetly; I am the caretaker for my elderly father, who has dementia. The one thing I can't guarantee is when/if I have free time. Also, I live on the PNW coast, and it is storm season. I can't guarantee my tech will work either! ; )

Maggie Warren

Yes, @Abigail Hilton, the AU is a delight, isn't it?!

Leigh Legler

Hmm, I'm thinking I maybe should have picked "Other" instead of "Comics"... What I'd meant by my vote was more artwork/sketches in general, especially things like the Q&A and other minicomics, whether AU or building on canon. I just get so excited by any artwork at all, no matter how rudimentary, and tend to ignore the other things. :'D

Leigh Legler

Also, I wish there was a vote of "You don't actually need to do MORE, I'm loving this already and just want you to do you!" because that is also true. You already give us so much. ♥

Doscher

I'd enjoy any or all of these things, but I'm curious about an 'other' category that is strongly conditional to the point that it might not be a useful part of the tally. I'm curious about thought processes and the relationship between idea and expression you use. Granted, this might be asking for the equivalent of preforming brain surgery on yourself or might simply be a private matter. Where appropriate, I'd love to hear more thoughts on the creative process. Of course, you do so much already that it seems greedy to ask for more.

Rachel Sandler

I'd consume anything you post, Tracy. Just make sure that you don't work yourself too hard. Work-life balance and mental health and all that.

PotentPinion

That blog of references sounds rad as hell

Brittany Coleman

I personally went for the comic and tutorials. Honestly though it feels like anything you do for us you put your heart into so anything flies with me. c: I love how detailed and beautiful your art turns out! Also, like others have said, please don't work too hard and leave some time for your personal health as well! :)

lackadaisy

Hehe - no. It endures several stages of unforgivable messiness before reaching the screen, but sharing more works-in-progress or more process breakdowns of completed work is something I can do. Thanks for your feedback, Phil!

coinin

I voted for comics, but really I just want you to do what you want to do! That’s why I’m supporting you. :) your comics are great, your illustrations are great, your silly little Q&A things make me laugh and have reduced me to helpless gigglefits on more than one occasion.

Matthew Speidel

I guess it files under "comics," but the fascinating story you're weaving is my interest here. As I believe I've noted before, I'm a sucker for a good period piece. :)

Susan K. Jolly

I'm happy with anything you produce. Just please take care of yourself.

Sidney Ruebensaal

I love everything you post, but I do get quite giddy when I see content with the characters' human counterparts! x

Annie Sexton

I love your art! But: comix comix comix comix comix. I love your storytelling!
