His debut DoggyStyle, is widely considered one of the greatest albums ever, and it sold 800k copies first week which was the fastest selling debut album ever at the time. This album was also very responsible for the commercialization of Hip Hop, and is mainly produced by Dr. Dre. Snoop Dogg is one of the most iconic pop culture figures ever, and this was his debut album (He Appeared on the Chronic by Dr Dre a year before)
