YESSS i cant want until you get to the next two

Alex VonBerg

Hell yeah. Rocky, Isaiah Rashad, and billy woods are the three artists I want to you cover most, so I'm happy this week.

BOB PLEASE DO TRAP LORD BY FERG

Alex VonBerg

This album is his weakest by far for me. I think you'll be into A.L.L.A. way more. Actually interesting lyrics on many of the songs and the production is consistently great.

Jordan

When he paused on SVDENNLY I almost threw my phone out the window.

Owl /Kami

agreed, this album is defo his weakest project by farr and the lyrical content does get better from here

Philip Wastesson

Considering you enjoyed the beat on 1Train so much and considering you seem so tired of gangster rap, I have to point you in the direction of the King's Disease and Magic series by Nas, which Hit Boy produced. KD3 is the best one, but if you want a shorter listen I would highly recommend the first Magic which is just 30 minutes.

Qball

I never liked asap’s music, I don’t know why

Braden

A.L.L.A will be the album for you

Matt

Bob, it seems you found this one hit or miss, i do too but I hope you continue exploring ASAP Rocky as his next one is his best imo. He mixes mainstream with experimental much better and easily at his best lyrically, as he is quite impressive at times and shows he could potentially hold up against some of the best. Testing is also a fun one and much better than this.

Ramsey_ajr

Hey Bob, just wanted to say everytime I see a new post from you I get super excited bcuz I know I’ll have someone to accompany me for at least an hour or so! during my 10 hr shift at work, I grew up on hip hop in a non hip hop household so I’ve always wanted someone to experience the beauty that is hip hop the way I see it, and you and Kevin from Turning the Tables are like my white dads 😅😂 enjoying music to its fullest potential and it heals something in me from my youth !!

Tim Shevchuk

At Long Last ASAP is his best album, gotta do that one for sure

A little rant. The reason why Rocky is my favourite rapper is because specifically his music makes me feel like I'm living a stress-free live, it's weird, but I connect to Rocky a lot in terms of his ideas that he's expressing in music and interviews. Its like any time I'm feeling extremely down I put his music on and I get hope for life again and that's so crazy how an artist can do that to you, not a single other artist does that to me really. His smooth flow and his swaggy style is what makes Rocky him. Out of his 4 albums this one I would consider his 3rd or 4th best, I still really love it, but the other ones are even better imo.

Pablo Esquvar

Bob, A.L.L.A. (At Long Last A$AP) is his best album to date. He has way more substance on that record than this one. this album is good but not as great as A.L.L.A.

Johnathan Smith

Flatbush Zombies Better off Dead BOB WOULD LOVE THE GROUP AND THE Music would if you agree but a love on this

EEF

A lot of the appeal of some of these you weren't into as much will be understood more if/when you start smoking weed and listening to him, trust

Shady

Huge Rocky’s fan, but this album definitely isn’t his best. You would definitely like A.L.L.A. which is an improvement in every possible way, lyrics and productions.

Kevin Lauture

Hope to see you do some older J. Cole soon. A step away from the gangsta and trap stuff. A reaction to Born Sinner, KOD or The Offseason would be dope

sebastian

your reaction to the fuckin problems music video was gold

Kevin Gonzalez

At.Long.Last.Assp is his best and most mature album, lyrics way more focused and production much more intentional.

John Walnut

I related to you so well when you stopped goldie bc it reminded you of a nine inch nails song. i do that all day at work and my helper gets pissed bc we can never just finish a song without me telling him every single thought i had about it.

Pankechi57

i don’t know if you ever commented on this or not, but you should really listen to Bastard by tyler!!!

Robin Jones

I’m still waiting on my big Krit! I know it’s coming lol

Kunj Mehta

I KNEW YOU'D LIKE THE DANGER MOUSE PRODUCTION ON PHOENIX! I hope you listen to cheat codes by him and black thought soon! I recommended it to you some time back :)

Donelaitis

PLEASE listen to “Cheat Codes” by Black Thought and Danger Mouse. It’s right up your alley, I promise.

At Long Last ASAP is definitely the best album out of this trilogy, I've always found this one pretty shallow but there are gold moments like with 1train. I love how he brought together some of the most talented rappers of that generation to do a song that feels like a cipher. Also no Rihanna and and ASAP werent dating in this video. She was just his video vixen and it probably came together since he has a line in there comparing the girl to Rihanna. I think at this time Drake and Chris brown were actually beefing over her lol (Drake was rumored to have been dating her at this time). But yeah it's mad cool how much chemistry they have in the video, I wonder if anyone had told them that they'd end up having a family together how they'd have felt

Andrew Moore

all the new albums you have up next are going to be amazing, Donda, Long Last Asap, new carti, Kendrick and chance the rapper

Andrew Moore

and are you going to do donda 2 I think its worth a listen gives a weird vibe

Ahmed Hussein

Can't wait for album 3 in this trilogy

Sonic_Youth666

So the way I look a hip hop is in 2 categories origin, and with building blocks like all art. Origin hip hop I take as early 80s dj park mixes where breaking started aka party dance music, that’s what I find interesting abt the new school it’s just the origin of hip hop vibe feel the stream of the song like a river(ASAP/ Travis/Future/Lil Peep ecst: and the building blocks would be Nas/Big Pun/ Jid/Denzel/joeyba$$/ Capital Steez XXX I see you leaning more into the lyrical miracle side of the core and what’s wrong with loving poetry!!!

The Gr8 Scott

Goldie was insane on the radio, to the point hearing it takes me back to those days immediately. Fuckin' Problems was also SO big on the radio at the time. 1 Train was underrated but did hit hard then just as it does now.

Dev

Im glad that phoenix was one of them that sunk in, definitely my favorite track since released when i was 12, 13. now 25 and the track only makes you ponder more. Love that its like a deep look in rockys mental and such as a quick way to describe it. thank you bob again!

darwin morocho

Can’t wait for you to listen to at long last asap
