I found out about the new Kendrick release after I finished recording this reaction, so the new Kenny will be next week's reaction. It'll land a little early due to the holiday schedule (Wednesday for Patreon).

About J. Cole, I think the Warm Up is worth listening to, but if you can't do both that one and FNL, then FNL is the one to do. I think those will both be on streaming by the 27th, if he continues dropping w/ the podcast eps. Excited for Kenny, too :)

I love some of the 80s, but most of the albums are so dated with production and rhyme style. I grew up with it, and back then it was great, but knowing and hearing what's it's evolved to, makes it a little boring. Albums like this have 3-5 worthy songs to listen to, but the rest is ehh. It really progressed in the early to mid nineties with prod/rhyme style.

I think Bob would really enjoy that Cole podcast, so far it's absolutely been worth the $10. I've always wanted to learn more about how Cole and Hov interact since they don't really do much together musically. Excited for the Cole World episode since that album sounded so weirdly put together compared to his mixtapes prior

To understand this album better this some of the songs singles they released locally years prior. It’s basically kids having fun and talking shit. Their second album Individualz 4 Life was much more cohesive, sonically superior, and Rock and Funk influenced as far as production. One of the best Rap albums in my opinion.
