I'm aware of the new Mac Miller release today, but I've heard it's pretty dark and I wasn't able to finish the reaction to Faces because of the themes. I hope to get to 'Balloonerism', but I need to be in the right headspace.

This album by Clipse has been requested quite a bit recently, so I went with that instead.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the upload! I know how hard Faces was. All good. A lot of Mac's music is hard and painful to listen to especially with his passing, but what he had to say was incredibly important. Hope you are well. Much love.

You should listen to Lord Willin' as well in the future

Samuel C

Yeah, definitely do Lord Willin’ in the future too or at listen to it on your own.

Haven’t listened to the reaction yet but I should brief where hip hop was in 2006. It’s an era bob hasn’t covered much. This happened near the end of the bling era. Tons of flash and rapping about luxury and flexing over beats that had everyone dancing and partying. Hip hops most “ignorant” era by far. The production is very very very 2006. It’s an era many hip hop fans look down on but it’s probably the era where the most fun was had.

The beats on this album are so unique... Like, listen to them and just try to imagine how you would flow over some of these. I can't believe push and malice found the pockets that they did. Legendary album

Samuel C

Maybe we can get an It’s Almost Dry reaction too
